Job Description
Great Northern is a local, privately owned paper-based packaging manufacturer seeking an Electromechanical Technician for their Allentown, PA plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for electro-mechanical repairs, maintenance, and preventative maintenance to production and facility equipment, as well as installation and documentation of equipment in various areas of the plant.
Requirements
- Electro-mechanical skill set is required
- Hands on experience with PLC/DCS and HMI architecture
- Knowledge of AC/DC circuits, motors and drives
- Ability to perform ladder logic programming and troubleshooting for PLC's
- Ability to determine electrical hazards and problems and safely isolate, ground, and prepare circuits for repairs
- Ability to adhere to lock out/tag out practices and procedures
- Regular and reliable attendance
