Great Oaks Legacy Charter School is seeking a Network Achievement Director (K-8 Humanities) to develop and manage our curriculum and assessment model, and increase instructional leadership capacity of school-based leaders. The role involves driving academic achievement and growth, leading academic strategy and vision, and building teacher and leader capacity.
Requirements
- College degree: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Teaching & Leadership Experience: 4 years of teaching experience and 2 years of experience as a School Director, Assistant Director/Assistant Principal, or network leader
- Deep content expert: knowledge of Literacy and the Science of Reading, and familiarity with standards, assessments, and best practices within the discipline and grade band
- Strong data analysis skills: ability to diagnose challenges and recommend clear next steps for instructional leaders and/or teachers
- Proven Record: consistent track record of driving academic achievement
- Detail-oriented and logistical: ability to prioritize micro details and take an idea from theory to practice
- Excellent communication skills: ability to speak and write clearly and specifically about the discipline and details stakeholders will need to know
