Job Description
Great Oaks Legacy Charter School is seeking a Special Education Teacher for the 2026-27 academic year. The role involves preparing students for college success through rigorous instruction and maintaining high expectations. The teacher will report to the School Director and work collaboratively with the instructional coaches and Academic Deans.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a competitive college or university
- NJ DOE certification (CE/CEAS/Provisional/Standard) or out of state certification
- Prior teaching experience in an urban No Excuses school setting (strongly preferred)
- Demonstrated mastery of content knowledge and ability to drive student growth
