Patient Care Technician provides basic patient care under the direction of a licensed nurse, including activities of daily living, wound prevention, and equipment setup.
Requirements
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Completion of C.N.A. course (or complete within four months of hire date)
- Computer experience
- Health care experience within the last five years (preferred)
- Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter certification
- Child Abuse Iowa Mandatory Reporter certification
- Emergency First Response and Choking certification within 90 days of hire
- MOAB certification within 12 months of hire
- Restraint training completed after hire
