Patient Care Technician | 36 hours per week | Med Surg

Patient Care Technician provides basic patient care under the direction of a licensed nurse, including activities of daily living, wound prevention, and equipment setup.

Requirements

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Completion of C.N.A. course (or complete within four months of hire date)
• Computer experience
• Health care experience within the last five years (preferred)
• Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter certification
• Child Abuse Iowa Mandatory Reporter certification
• Emergency First Response and Choking certification within 90 days of hire
• MOAB certification within 12 months of hire
• Restraint training completed after hire
