Operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment to demonstrate anatomical or physiological structures of the human body for diagnostic purposes. Prepare patients for procedures, take images, and provide sonograms to physicians for medical diagnosis.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree (AA) in Radiologic Technology and/or Ultrasound program
- American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- 1-3 years healthcare experience
- Basic Cardiac Life Support & First Aid - American Heart Association
- Child Abuse Iowa Mandatory Reporter - Iowa Department of Human Services
- Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter - Iowa Department of Human Services
- Iowa Permit to Practice
