Senior Software Engineer - Salesforce

Role Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer - Salesforce, you will be part of the Enterprise Technology Group at GreatAmerica Financial Services. You will design, develop, and implement solutions using Salesforce ecosystem, leveraging declarative programming and custom development on the platform. You will work with cross-functional product teams, collaborate with internal and external resources, and contribute to the growth and improvement of the Salesforce platform.

What You Will Do

Your main responsibilities will include designing and implementing solutions across various Salesforce Clouds, working with CI/CD tool Copado, participating in Pull Request Reviews, and resolving merge conflicts. You will also troubleshoot applications and data issues, implement bug fixes, and optimize and extend features in existing Salesforce environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or equivalent
• Salesforce certified Admin, Advanced Admin, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II
• 5-8 years' developer and admin experience working in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud
• Advanced knowledge of developing and supporting Lightning web Components and the Aura framework
• In-depth knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Advanced level of knowledge of APEX Language, SOQL, SOSL, APEX triggers, batch classes, and scheduled classes
• Intermediate level of knowledge of VisualForce pages and components
• Advanced level of knowledge of record sharing, dynamic forms, and Salesforce user security and access
• Intermediate level of knowledge of formulas and validation rules
• Advanced level of knowledge of data modeling, flows, and secure programming within the Salesforce Platform
• Advanced level of knowledge and implementation experience on Integration patterns and Salesforce API's
• Advanced knowledge of working with Git and source control management processes
• Intermediate level of knowledge of working with Salesforce in a CI/CD environment using a tool like Copado
• In-depth experience of working in a Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology
• Experience with the SAFe, agile framework is a plus
