Job Description
GCBHS has an immediate opening for a full-time or part-time Family Support Worker: Parent/ Early Childhood Educator at our Cincinnati office in Price Hill. This position provides families with necessary resources and skills to raise children who are healthy, happy, and ready to learn.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, Psychology, Child & Family Studies, Human Services, Psychology, Early Childhood Education, or closely related field.
- Valid driver’s license, vehicle, and insurable driving record.
- Experience working with children and families & knowledge of infant and child development.
- Ability to work in culturally diverse households and communities
- High degree of initiative and independent judgement.
- Ability to demonstrate a high attention to detail and good follow-up skills.
- Open to reflective practice (ie: has capacity for introspection, communicates awareness of self in relation to others, recognizes the value of supervision, etc.)
