• Receive, greet, and direct patients upon arrival
• Note patient's condition and be aware of distress
• Register patients upon arrival
• Call insurance companies to verify eligibility
• Collect co-pays and send to Finance department
• Demonstrate knowledge and skill necessary to manage patient care
• Solve scheduling problems and issues
• Pre-register and print encounters and labels
• Scan insurance REVS and cards in electronic medical records
• Take patient photographs for Electronic Medical Records
