Job Description
The Special Abilities Swim Lesson Instructor is responsible for working in the water, assisting in conducting aquatic instruction for members and participants. Provides support and encouragement to assist students in learning to swim, while ensuring safety and cleanliness of the pool area and adherence to all YMCA Aquatic Safety Standards.
Requirements
- 15 years of age with successful completion of swimming skills test
- Pursue YMCA swim Lesson Instructor certification, CPR, First Aid, Oxygen, and Lifeguarding
- Attend staff meetings and trainings as required
