Job Description
Join the Greater Philadelphia YMCA team as a Summer Camp Unit Leader! We're looking for someone who loves connecting with people and sharing their passion with others. As a Unit Leader, you'll positively impact the summer camp community, help children reach their potential, and change lives in our Y community.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Experience working with children and at least two seasons working as a Y Camp Counselor or as a counselor in a comparable program
- Enthusiasm, sense of humor, patience and experience working with children
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Ability to deal effectively with inappropriate behavior and recognize hazard situations
