Quality Engineer

The Quality Engineer's role is to support activities to improve quality and efficiency of product at the customer, internal, and supplier levels. They will work with customers and suppliers on PPAPs, audits, and corrective action projects; monitor and report on KPIs; perform gage and capability studies; update and control documents; problem solve; audit and improve internal processes; train operators and inspectors; calibrate gages and manage the calibration process.

Requirements

• Ability to interpret parts and GD&T drawings.
• Intermediate knowledge of business systems software (Minitab, ERP software, Word, Excel, Access, and Power BI).
• Ability to multitask and make good decisions in a busy environment.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to work as a team with little supervision.
• Can effectively communicate with other stakeholders, including both external and internal customers.
• Must maintain a good attendance record.
• Some travel may be required.
