Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Medical Physicist to join our oncology team at a well-known hospital facility in NJ, ensuring the safe and effective delivery of radiation therapy through physics principles and techniques.
Requirements
- Perform routine quality assurance measurements and evaluations on radiation therapy equipment.
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations related to radiation use.
- Conduct patient dosimetry evaluations and treatment plan verification.
- Participate in education and training of staff, residents, and students in medical physics topics.
- Engage in research activities to advance knowledge in radiation therapy technologies and methodologies.
