Requirements
- Utilizes production and/or development equipment in sample preparation activities
- Carries out assigned experiments, captures data, and creates detailed reports summarizing key findings
- Takes ownership of assigned projects and works independently to complete milestones on time
- Assists engineering with process recipe development, prototype manufacturing, and transfer to production activities
- Performs visual and dimensional inspection of products, collects and interprets inspection reports from auditors, and suggests process adjustments as necessary
- Provides general support including packaging, rework, assembly and hardware install
- Leads troubleshooting efforts by investigating product defects, identifying problems, and initiating/implementing process improvements
- Provides guidance in other areas including design-for-manufacturing, planning, time/cost estimates, material handling, assembly, design/creation of custom test rigs, running custom parts tests, capturing and reporting data
