The Lead VIP Interiors Mechanic works under minimal supervision to safely perform aircraft removals, installation, and/or fabrication of aircraft interiors. They lead the removals, installation, and/or fabrication of aircraft interiors, maintenance, and other tasks.
Requirements
- Leads the aircraft removals, installation, and/or fabrication of aircraft interiors
- Oversees and co-signs for uncertified mechanics
- Facilitates On-the-Job Training (OJT)
- Ensures all tasks are promptly completed in compliance with federal regulations, customer guidelines and company policies
- Uses technical data to order parts and ensure material is effective for aircraft being installed on
- Recognizes unsafe conditions and takes immediate corrective action
- Conducts crew meetings to ensure communication regarding work, safety, and quality
- Communicates effectively with other personnel at all levels
- Accurately clocks to jobs
- Regular and prompt attendance
