Technician II

The Technician II position performs moderate mechanical repairs and assembly on construction equipment by trouble-shooting and using various diagnostic equipment.

Requirements

• High school education or GED
• Three years direct work experience with a working knowledge of CAT literature systems
• Proficiency in at least one mechanical system (hydraulics, transmissions, electrical, etc.)
• Physical ability to stoop, kneel, bend, climb, lift/position parts up to 112 pounds, and use mechanical hoist for heavier parts
• Effective writing skills to write repair activities on customer work orders
• Cognitive reasoning and problem solving skills to apply knowledge, written information, and verbal instructions
