Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack

Gridware is a San Francisco-based technology company that protects and enhances the electrical grid. They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack to lead development of full-stack systems that power their core platform. The ideal candidate has experience building and owning end-to-end products, and has strong experience with frontend frameworks and modern backend technologies.

Requirements

• Design and scale backend services that connect thousands of Gridware devices to the cloud, enabling real-time monitoring and fault detection
• Build and maintain user-facing applications and interfaces that surface fleet health, events, and operational insights
• Develop and optimize APIs (including GraphQL) and data pipelines powering both internal tools and external workflows
• Ensure performance, reliability, and usability across both frontend and backend systems
• Collaborate closely with firmware, data, and design teams to deliver seamless end-to-end product experiences
• Contribute to architecture decisions across the stack, improving scalability, data flow, and system resilience
