The Controls Hardware Engineer will work in several areas of industrial controls engineering, including electrical schematic design, implementation, and supporting designs through the machine build process. An initial training phase with a Senior Designer is provided. This role focuses on developing machine and equipment solutions.
Requirements
- Understand and perform all controls hardware engineering tasks
- Support Senior Designers and Project Engineers
- Generate electrical schematics and supporting files
- Evaluation of customer specifications and their impact to GROB’s products
- Apply international (IEC, ISO) and national (NFPA) standards
- General Requirements: Self-motivated and team player
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong math skills and understanding of basic electrical circuits
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Willing to work overtime as needed
- Willing to travel domestic and international
- Ability to secure and maintain a valid passport
