Assistant Buyer

The Assistant Buyer role at Grocery Outlet provides support to the buying team in purchasing products, ensuring accuracy in the ordering process, and facilitating communication between vendors and buyers. This role is responsible for creating purchase orders, verifying product descriptions, and maintaining positive relationships with suppliers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 1-2 years of retail/sales or related experience
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Proficient use of Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook
• Detail Oriented and highly organized
• Resourceful and able to research problems and recommend solutions
• Strong written & verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask with broad workload to meet deadlines
