Job Description
GT Mid Atlantic, LLC has an opening for a Service Manager to supervise shop and field service technicians, oversee facility maintenance, and train employees. The successful candidate will have good working knowledge of operations and mechanical functions, supervisory skills, and strong diagnostic skills.
Requirements
- Supervision of 7+ shop and field service technicians
- Overseeing the maintenance & repair, housekeeping and security of the branch facility and equipment
- Training and safety programs for all branch employees
- Planning and monitoring of service department sales and expense activity
- Hiring and evaluation of all service department personnel at the branch
- Good working knowledge of operations and mechanical functions
- Solid shop floor management knowledge
- Strong diagnostic skills
- Supervisory and management training in related fields
- Leadership skills in a specialized repair environment
- A solid understanding of pricing principles and discounting effects
- Working knowledge of shop layout
- Good communications skills with customers, co-workers and management
