The Manager – Communications & Development will serve as the strategic anchor and team lead for the Communications function, leading a team of Senior Associates and Associates, and elevating performance standards to ensure that all communications reflect a strong systems-change narrative within the public education ecosystem.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in communications (education/development sector preferred)
- Mandatory experience in leading and managing teams
- Strong understanding of India's education ecosystem (policy, government, donors, NGOs)
- Experience working cross-functionally with programs, fundraising, and leadership teams
- Strong editorial judgment and ability to provide constructive feedback
- Strategic thinking with strong execution capability
- Proficiency in digital tools, analytics, and performance tracking
- Ability to work in dynamic, evolving environments
- High ownership and accountability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Functional knowledge of Marathi (preferred)
- Strong presentation and data-handling skills (Microsoft & Google Suite)
