Senior Appian Consultant / Technical Lead

Groundswell is a premier technology integrator seeking a Senior Appian Consultant / Technical Lead to provide integrated architecture support for our delivery teams and act as a trusted advisor to our clients. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience with Appian solutions and 5+ years of related IT experience. The role is a hybrid position (on-site McLean VA / remote) and requires a U.S. Citizen (no dual citizenship) with an Active Clearance or clearability.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with Appian solutions
• 5+ years of related IT experience
• Active Appian Senior or Lead Certification
• Strong experience with Appian delivery using an Agile methodology
• Strong technical design and implementation and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner, both verbally and written; active listening skills to gather key information from internal and external partners; analytical and strategic foresight
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work in a high-paced environment, multi-task (prioritize and manage), and work both independently and as a team (team-building skills including courtesy, professionalism, and a “do whatever it takes attitude”)
• Experience Working In The Following Technologies Required: Appian, RDBMS (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL/MariaDB), Web services, Integrations and Middleware (e.g., RESTful/SOAP, Mule/IIB/Fusion)
• Experience Working In The Following Areas Is A PLUS: Cloud Computing/IaaS (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), Authentication (e.g., SAML, Kerberos, OAuth, LDAP), Data management and data visualization/BI, DevSecOps and/or Configuration Management, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence
