Job Description
The Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, support, and deliver evidence-based substance use disorder treatment. The CSAC is responsible for delivering evidence-based diagnostic assessment and treatment to adults with substance use disorders.
Requirements
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a psychotherapy-related field
- Possession of an appropriate Wisconsin clinical license
- Certification by the State of Wisconsin Medicaid/Health Forward program as a Behavioral Health Provider
- Licensure as a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor
- Possession of a National Provider Identifier (NPI Number) for health care providers
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in the provision of direct clinical behavioral health services
