Job Description
Responsible for setting up and operating the laser cutting machine, assisting with area housekeeping, maintenance work, and material staging. May serve as backup for other positions.
Requirements
- 2+ years set-up and operating experience
- Previous metal fabrication background
- Dimensional measuring and shop math competence
- Basic computer skills
- Capable of using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Effective communication skills
- Maintain excellent attendance record
- Flexible to work overtime if needed
