Director, State Government Relations

The Director of State Government Affairs will be responsible for influencing changes to state laws and regulations in the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on vaccines and public health. The role will involve lobbying, strategic leadership, policy influence, and coalition building, as well as managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Lobbying and advocacy experience with patient advocacy groups, health professional societies, and state governments
• Strategic leadership and management experience, including overseeing lobbyists and managing senior executive engagement with government officials
• Policy influence and awareness, with a focus on state legislation and regulation affecting the pharmaceutical industry
• Experience in developing and maintaining working relationships with diverse individuals and groups
• Ability to work in a values-compliant manner and manage complex information
