As Belgian Government Affairs, Senior Manager you will be responsible for the development, monitoring and implementation of government affairs activities.
Requirements
- Develop and execute government affairs plans to build trust with government stakeholders and support the right policy environment.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory activities at the local, regional, and federal levels, and provide timely updates to internal stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong personal network with key policy stakeholders across the government, public sector, and Industry.
- Represent our organization at meetings, working groups, and other relevant events to ensure our voice is heard and our specific needs are addressed.
- Collaborate with internal teams to analyze the impact of proposed regulations and legislation on our organization and develop/write appropriate positions and action plans.
- Conduct research and monitor development of policy environment and track development within the government(s) that could impact the healthcare sector and GSK activities in Belgium specifically.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and other materials to effectively communicate our organization's positions and priorities to government officials and other stakeholders.
- Engage in coalition building and partnership development with other organizations and industry groups to amplify our advocacy efforts.
- Stay informed about industry best practices and trends in government affairs to continuously improve our strategies and approaches.
