Oncology MSL

The Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL) is a scientific expert who builds long term partnerships with the healthcare community to gather medical insights, support evidence-based understanding of our science, discuss our pipeline, clinical development and data generation strategies, and help inform patient care decisions.

Requirements

• Degree in medical or other life sciences
• Pharmaceutical industry experience in oncology therapy area preferred
• Solid grounding in clinical, medical and pharmaceutical science
• Understanding of fundamentals of oncology, statistical concepts and analyses
• Business mindset, understanding of external market dynamics, and ability to balance cross-functional objectives
• Ability to leverage digital tools to identify & prioritize external stakeholders
• Ability to build & maintain trusting relationships with external stakeholders
• Effective communication & listening skills with right level of curiosity, and agility to tailor information to different audiences appropriately
• Ability to interpret & translate complex scientific data into simple messages in the context of overall patient care
• Ability to effectively use multi-channel communication tools to engage external stakeholder
