Job Description
GTG Peterbilt is seeking a reliable and experienced Part-Time Transport Driver with a CDL license. The role involves safely transporting trucks to and from designated locations, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely deliveries. The company serves eastern Iowa with dedicated trucks and trucks are serviced by dedicated people.
Requirements
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle.
- Plan and follow efficient routes.
- Maintain accurate records of transportation activities.
- Perform vehicle inspections.
- Adhere to company policies and regulations.
- Valid CDL with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must be insurable through company insurance.
- Must pass background check and preemployment drug screen.
