Job Description
A GIS Programmer is sought to support the development of a real-time intelligent traffic system map, designing, developing, and maintaining GIS applications that integrate live traffic signal data, video feeds, and road closure information with third-party mapping systems.
Requirements
- Design, develop, and maintain ESRI ArcGIS Pro-based applications
- Integrate GIS data with Waze, Google Maps, Apple Maps, and other third-party mapping APIs
- Configure live data connections to traffic signals and video feeds
- Support integration with Cyteris Intelligent Traffic System (ITS) backend
- Manage and optimize geospatial databases
- Provide knowledge transfer and training to in-house GIS staff
- Collaborate with traffic engineers, IT staff, and public safety teams
