Maintenance Mechanic

We are looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to join our Production team at GU Energy Labs in Berkeley, California. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing equipment malfunctions, making repairs and adjustments, and managing maintenance work orders. You will also ensure that all machinery operates efficiently, adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial maintenance, or a related field
• Technical certification in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or electrical systems
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing environment
• At least 3 years in a leadership or management position
• Advanced troubleshooting skills in diagnostics and problem-solving
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently
• Experience with reading and interpreting equipment manuals
• Strong experience with electrical systems, mechanical systems, and electronic systems
• Deep understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and safety standards
• Proven experience with food manufacturing or packaging equipment
