Data Engineer

Guidehouse seeks a Data Engineer to support the Department of Defense (DoD) by designing, building, and operating data pipelines and analytics solutions on the Advana platform, leveraging Databricks and Palantir Foundry to enable authoritative, decision-grade financial and operational insights.

Requirements

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines using Databricks (Spark, PySpark, SQL)
• Engineer and optimize data models, Delta tables, and curated datasets
• Implement and manage CI/CD and version-controlled data engineering workflows
• Build and deploy cloud-native solutions in secure AWS and Azure environments
• Partner with functional SMEs, financial analysts, platform engineers, and governance teams
• Implement robust data quality, reconciliation, validation, and monitoring capabilities
• Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline, performance, and data integrity issues
• Document data flows, engineering designs, and operational procedures
