Guidehouse is seeking a Grants Management Managing Consultant to lead the design and implementation of federal grant projects for state and local government clients. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of grants management, strategic thinking, and stakeholder engagement, as well as experience with Uniform Guidance and Single Audit requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 5 years experience
- Experience in grants management roles either at a federal agency, state, city or county government, university or consulting firm
- Thorough understanding of Uniform Guidance â 2 CFR 200, including Single Audit requirements, and its application to different types of financial assistance
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into tangible documents and/or deliverables
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts
- Advanced proficiency in the full Microsoft Suite, including MS Teams, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills
- Experience with facilitation and consensus building
- Proven ability to work independently and collaborate with others
- Ability to organize, perform, and track multiple tasks accurately in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
