We are seeking a Grant Managements Specialist to support the National Institute of Aging’s (NIA) Grants Management program. The position will provide technical assistance in developing and analyzing the organization's grant program, assists with reviewing grant applications and preparing responses, and assists in analyzing and preparing reports to track status of awards and funding.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree OR High school diploma PLUS FOUR (4) years’ experience is equivalent to a bachelor’s degree
- A minimum of ONE (1) year of experience in grants administration, research, or related administrative support roles
- Knowledge of NIH/HHS grants policies and processes
- Experience reviewing grant applications for compliance
- Experience with budgets and financial analysis
- Ability to analyze data and prepare reports
- Experience maintaining grant records/systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel and Word
