San Diego - Department of War (DOW) Financial Management Consultant

The Department of War (DOW) Financial Management Consultant will help federal clients optimize finance operations, including audit readiness, accounting, logistics, and procurement. The consultant will support audit remediation activities, perform testing, and provide targeted area support based on component. The individual will learn about federal accounting and audit processes, build an understanding of accounting and financial processes, and adapt to learn federal audit standards, DOW processes, and internal controls standards.

Requirements

• An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, Business or related business field
• TWO (2) or more years of relevant experience in financial, auditing, accounting or business
