Job Description
Guiding Eyes for the Blind is seeking a Training School Kennel Technician to perform daily kennel cleaning, maintenance, and animal husbandry duties. The role involves providing high-quality animal care, assisting veterinary staff, and creating enrichment programs. The position requires physical stamina, teamwork, and a willingness to learn.
Requirements
- Physical stamina to lift up to 65-75 pounds and tolerate repetitive movements.
- Ability to lift and carry dog crates and pens.
- Reliability, integrity and punctuality.
- Flexibility in availability (weekends, evenings, holidays).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
- Valid driver's license
