Senior Data Scientist

Guild is hiring a Senior Product Analytics Data Scientist to drive strategic analytics and inform product strategy. The role requires strong proficiency in SQL, experience with modern data tools, and expertise in experimentation design, causal inference, and statistical rigor. The position offers a competitive total compensation package, including a base salary of $120,000 - $140,000 and stock options.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with modern data tools (Snowflake, dbt, Databricks, Looker or similar)
• Expertise in experimentation design, causal inference, and statistical rigor
• Ability to define meaningful KPIs and connect them to business outcomes through logical frameworks
• Experience with product analytics tooling (Optimizely, Segment, Fullstory, Amplitude, or similar)
• Strong communication skills—able to craft clear narratives for non-technical stakeholders
• Consultative mindset: you scope requests, push back when needed, and deliver what stakeholders actually need
• Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to structure problems independently
