Tech Lead – Salesforce Commerce Cloud position for a 12-month contract role. Hands-on technical leadership required for a large-scale digital commerce transformation for a pharmaceutical client. Work remotely in the U.S. with a preference for TX or CA.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware) development
- Experience supporting B2B and B2C commerce implementations, including storefront development
- Solid understanding of headless/decoupled commerce architectures
- Experience working with integrations to SAP and OMS platforms
- Proficiency in SFCC development tools and frameworks (ISML, controllers, pipelines, OCAPI, SCAPI)
- Experience leading small to mid-sized development teams, including offshore resources
- Strong understanding of order capture, checkout flows, and commerce operations
- Familiarity with customer engagement, loyalty, and personalization features
- Ability to translate technical designs into actionable development tasks
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in complex environments
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a client-facing team environment
