Job Description
The Tankerman Trainee will serve as the person-in-charge of critical operations, with the responsibility of protecting the environment by ensuring the safe reliable transfer of dangerous liquid cargo. The job requires a 6-9 month training program and involves performing a variety of inspections, maintenance of machinery, and connecting cargo arm or hose.
Requirements
- Minimum Qualifications
- MMC - Must be eligible to possess US Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Credential (MMC) with a Tankerman PIC Barge (DL) Endorsement.
- TWIC - Must posses a Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC).
- Medical Certification - Must clear a USCG Pre-Employment and Annual Merchant Mariner Examination.
- Drug & Alcohol Clearance - Must pass and remain compliant with Pre-Employment, Annual, Random, Post Incident, and Reasonable Suspicion for Corporate Non-DOT and USCG DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing Policies.
- Drivers License - Must posses a valid Driver's License in resident state.
