Job Description
The Indirect Tax Analyst will support the US business and help ensure that indirect tax considerations are properly reflected in on-going business activities within the company risk profile and for business decisions purposes.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Accounting; Master in Taxation (or equivalent)
- 3+ years of relevant experience in indirect tax, or similar role, US tax knowledge preferred
- Experience within the oil and gas industry and/or within a Big 4 company; expertise in energy or commodity trading business preferred
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office – especially Excel and Access
- Team player and excellent communication skills, including written and spoken (English)
- Proactive, ability to work independently, deal with all levels of management and external contacts
- Great judgment, resiliency, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel for training and/or tax conferences (limited)
