Job Description
Performs cytology screening and related clerical and technical functions to include assisting in specimen preparation or evaluation of collected samples. Assists the Section Manager in all phases of cytology operations. Performs and documents quality control procedures relevant to the situation. Checks work against established quality control standards of performance.
Requirements
- Must meet federal requirements for Cytotechnologist qualifications
- Must have a working knowledge of cytology laboratory
- Must be eligible for or hold an active NYSDOH license
