LPN Licensed Practical Nurse - Acute Care (Med/Surg Seton 2 Ortho) - Full Time

Provides high quality nursing care for assigned patients in accordance with nursing standards of care and practice under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Requirements

• LPN licensed in the state of practice
• Completed IV therapy curriculum requirements as noted in the Pennsylvania Code, Section 21.203, or completion of a Board-approved, LPN IV Therapy Education Program
• Maintain CPR certification
• Participate in patient data collection, including the admission process
• Determine outcomes (goals) that will involve the patient and family
• Implement plan of care in collaboration with the nursing team
• Assist RN to evaluate patient’s response to interventions
• Recommend changes in plan of care to RN and participate in patient care conferences
• Document in a thorough, concise, timely manner according to the nursing department standards
