Job Description
Guthrie Medical Education Programs (GEMP) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time position in the Emergency Services, Night shift (7p-7a). This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in acute settings. Responsibilities include, coordinated, safe, compassionate, therapeutic, evidence-based quality care and adherence to the Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association (ANA) Code of Ethics, and ANA scope and standards. The position requires a current, valid RN license, BLS certification, and ACLS, plus experience as a registered nurse or as a newly licensed nurse. Ability to adapt to a clinical campus for resident or fellowship programs is expected.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse in the State of Practice
- BSN preferred
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification is unit dependent
- Experience with at least one year of experience
- Current RN license
- Must meet individual nursing unit specifications
- Must maintain BLS certification
- ACLS is unit dependent
