Dams Engineer

GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc. is seeking a Dams Engineer to join its team in Trumbull or Glastonbury, CT. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and project management experience, a strong background in dam and/or levee engineering, and the ability to generate direct business, project leads, and build client relationships.

Requirements

• Conducting dam and/or levee safety inspections
• Supervising fieldwork including test borings, instrumentation installations, and construction monitoring for dam and levee rehabilitation projects
• Providing data analysis, organization, and interpretation in support of dam/levee inspections, evaluations, and rehabilitations projects
• Executing and/or supervising geotechnical engineering analyses
• Communicating effectively and efficiently with team members, clients and contractors
• Providing leadership/mentoring to technical staff
• Preparing technical and cost proposals
• Executing project management duties
