Environmental Project Manager

GZA is seeking an Environmental Project Manager with at least 7 years of relevant environmental engineering/consulting experience to join our Norwood, Massachusetts, team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of the technical aspects of projects, manage environmental investigation and remediation projects, and represent GZA with clients throughout proposal, contract, and project performance phases.

Requirements

• Manage and oversee environmental site investigation and remediation projects from planning through completion
• Mentor a team of existing project engineers and scientists
• Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, and deliverables
• Perform data analysis, calculations, and interpretation related to environmental sampling, remediation performance, and regulatory compliance
• Manage project contractual and financial issues
• Prepare technical reports, proposals, work plans, and regulatory submittals
• Serve as the primary client contact, maintaining strong professional relationships
• Support business development efforts through networking, involvement in professional organizations, client meetings, and participation in marketing initiatives
• Conduct and oversee fieldwork, including soil, groundwater, and vapor sampling and remediation system operation and maintenance, as necessary
