Quality Control Technician I

As the largest pureplay adhesives company in the world, H.B. Fuller’s innovative, functional coatings, adhesives and sealants enhance the quality, safety and performance of products people use every day. The Quality Control Technician reports to the Production Manager/Supervisor and conducts all necessary testing analysis to ensure specifications are met prior to product release.

Requirements

• One to two years related experience and/or training
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and quality control software
