Job Description
H&H is seeking a Drainage Design Chief Engineer / Group Leader to lead the Drainage Group for our Florida operations and play a key role in expanding the service line. The role includes oversight of drainage design and stormwater permitting services, strategic marketing initiatives, and business development with existing and new clients.
Requirements
- Develop strategic plans and lead business development efforts to grow the drainage discipline in Florida
- Provide drainage design and hydraulic analysis for pavement systems
- Design and analyze pond systems to meet Water Management District requirements
- Develop and modify large watershed models in StormWise (ICPR)
- Prepare technical reports documenting drainage design and analysis
- Collaborate with roadway designers to ensure integrated and compatible designs
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and owners
- Oversee and implement internal quality control procedures
- Train, mentor, and manage engineering staff across Florida offices
- Lead a team of up to ten engineers and coordinate workload and staffing
