Structural Engineer

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Structural Engineer to join our Annapolis, MD office. With over 138 years of experience, H&H is a trusted full-service infrastructure engineering firm.

Requirements

• B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Concentration (preferred)
• Three-five years of experience in transportation projects for State Agencies in the Mid-Atlantic region preferred (MD, DE, DC, VA)
• FHWA/NHI Bridge Inspection Certification
• Previous bridge, culvert, ancillary highway structures, and/or tunnel inspection experience
• Experience with FHWA Inventory and Element Level data collection
• OSHA, SPRAT or equivalent training a plus
• Experience with current AASHTO design specifications, design procedures, bridge standards and details, and structural computer models
• Ability to develop CAD drawings in Microstation and AutoCAD
• Good project management, technical writing and communication skills
