Associate Underwriter

Burns & Wilcox is looking for an Associate Underwriter to join their team. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, drive for career advancement, and desire to develop relationships. As an Associate Underwriter, you will underwrite and supervise a portion of an Underwriter's book of business, support renewal and new business development, and have the opportunity to achieve full underwriting authority.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2+ years of Underwriting support or industry experience with excess and surplus lines
• Demonstrated proficiency and previous experience in sales and marketing
