Machine Learning Engineer

H2O.ai is a leading AI company that converges Generative and Predictive AI to develop purpose-built GenAI applications. We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join our Professional Services team and work on delivering data science and machine learning professional services to customers. The role involves developing and implementing end-to-end machine learning workflows, building Generative AI applications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate ML solutions into customer environments.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, and AI
• Experience with Generative AI applications, including LLMs, prompt engineering, and fine-tuning
• Practical knowledge of Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) and vector databases
• Experience developing agentic AI systems for workflow automation
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and system design
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Experience with H2O.ai products, cloud platforms, and open-source ML/AI projects
