We are currently looking for ASL Interpreters for a variety of academic disciplines. Candidates will be expected to attend in person classes at university/colleges in Mississauga and surrounding regions.
Requirements
- Provide interpreting and transliteration services to deaf and hard-of-hearing students, faculty, and staff in academic and non-academic settings
- Follow ethical standards of the profession, maintain confidentiality, and adhere to the university or college's policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate and timely records of interpreting services provided, including timesheets, invoices, and other necessary documentation
- Attend required meetings and trainings, as specified by the university or college
- Maintain professional development by staying current with new developments and advancements in the field of ASL interpretation
