Little, Brown & Company is looking for a highly motivated, energetic, and creative Publicist or Senior Publicist to create and implement publicity campaigns for titles across Little, Brown’s categories and imprints.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of publicity experience in professional public relations or book publishing
- Strong knowledge of national and regional media
- Interest in and passion for practical non-fiction
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of the media, marketplace and competition
- Ability to escort authors as needed, including the ability to travel domestically with authors when needed
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Familiarity with Net Galley, Muck Rack, Podchaser and Edelweiss a plus
